Derrick Henry scored 3 touchdowns tonight for Tennessee. On the first, he broke a 76 yard run in the first half against Buffalo, marking his 6th career rushing touchdown of more than 70 yards. That’s 3rd most in NFL history. Henry is also the first player in NFL history to have 70+ yard rushing TDs in 5 consecutive seasons. Henry now has 11 rushing TD of 50 yards or more, which is 4th all-time. Henry hit a top speed of 21.8 miles per hour in the open field on the run, which is the fastest in the NFL so far this season. Henry’s touchdowns were the 12th, 13th, and 14th touchdowns scored by an Alabama player in Week 6. That’s the most ever in a single week by former Alabama players.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Collin Sexton failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension by tonight’s 6pm deadline. Sexton will now be a restricted free agent at the end of the 2021-2022 season. Sexton was one of 5 Top 10 picks from the 2018 draft that did not agree to an extension.

Damien Harris gets nominated for FedEx Ground Player of the Week this week.

Denver Bronco coach Vic Fangio said that Jerry Jeudy would begin doing some light work at practice today, but chances of him playing this week were “less than 50%.”

The agent for James Carpenter is reporting that the Baltimore Ravens are signing Carpenter to a practice squad deal.

Retin Obasohan scored 16 points today in a win for Hapoel Jerusalem, despite having to leave the game for stitches near his eye socket. See highlight clip below.

Mac Jones made his weekly appearance on WEEI’s Merloni and Fauria Show to discuss yesterday’s game. When talking about his blindside sack yesterday, Jones said it was “fun” to get hit like that. Jones also discussed needing to spend some time on his footwork, and continued to take the blame for the sack.
