In Memoriam
Former Alabama football player Grant Hill passed away over the weekend at the age of 26. Hill, a highly recruited offensive lineman out of Huntsville, played meaningful snaps as a freshman in 2013, but gave up football for medical reasons after the 2014 season. Hill would graduate from Alabama in 2017. Further details aren’t available at this time.

Henry Ruggs was involved in a serious car crash at 3:39am this morning in Las Vegas which resulted in the death of an occupant in the other vehicle. Ruggs, who has been hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, has been formally charged with one count of DUI and one count of reckless driving. The Raiders announced late tonight that they have released Ruggs.

Retin Obasohan was named Player of the Week in Israel’s Winner League. Obasohan scored 30 points and dished out 8 assists for Hapoel Jerusalem on Sunday. His 44 on the performance index is the highest in the league this season.
