Xavier McKinney was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 9. It’s his first career player of the week award.

Eryk Anders’ next fight will be at UFC 269 in Las Vegas on December 11. Anders is replacing Dricus Du Plessis, who dropped out due to and injury, and he’ll face middleweight Andre Muniz. The fight will be on the preliminary card, and will be available on ESPN+.

This film study on Dont’a Hightower, self-dubbed “the Trash Man,” shows how he’s doing a lot of little things that are keys to New England’s defensive success.

Levi Randolph and Retin Obasohan both sparked their teams to key wins in Champions League play. Randolph paced Oostende to a blow-out win with 26 points, while Obasohan scored 20 in a come-from-behind win for Hapoel Jerusalem.
