Alexa Guarachi and Nicole Melichar-Martinez had a successful grand slam debut in Melbourne, winning their opening round Australian Open doubles match 6-4, 6-2.

Levi Randolph and Filou Oostende won an elimination game against Igokea M:Tel 85-64 to even their Champions League Play-In Round series at 1-1. Randolph scored 21 points for Oostende in the rout. Game 3 will be next week.

Klutch Sports Group have announced the signings of both Evan Neal and Phidarian Mathis to representation contracts. Neal with be personally represented by Damarius Bilbo, while Mathis will be repped by Nicole Lynn (who also represents Quinnen Williams, Jedrick Wills, Christian Barmore, Jalen Hurts, and Deonte Brown).

LaBryan Ray has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Game, indicating that he’s foregoing his bonus year of eligibility.

Portious Warren voiced frustration over the delay in promised funding from Trinidad & Tobago’s Ministry of Sports. Warren is training in Tuscaloosa, and the start of her indoor season, scheduled in 3 weeks, is in jeopardy.

Trey Mullinax has been named to the PGA Tour’s Players Advisory Council for 2022.
