Austin Shepherd has been named Director of Recruiting and Football Logistics at Louisiana. The former Alabama offensive lineman has most recently worked with Lane Kiffin at both Mississippi and Florida Atlantic in various capacities.

Derrick Henry addressed the media today for the first time since being cleared to practice. Henry described his rehab process, as well as what his practice has entailed so far. Henry is expected to be activated off Injured Reserve before this weekend’s divisional round playoff game.

In contract representation news for new professionals, Josh Jobe and LaBryan Ray will be represented by SportsTrust Advisors, a firm with a deep Alabama roster. Chris Owens announced that he’ll be repped by Ajax Sports.

In their joint news conference today, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni both reiterated that Jalen Hurts will be the team’s starting quarterback in 2022.
