Levi Randolph and Filou Oostende overcame an 11 point deficit with just over 6 minutes left to play to defeat Igokea M:Tel in the deciding game of their Best of Three Play-In Series in Champions League play. Oostende will now advance to the Round of 16. Randolph finished with 22 points.

Jarret Johnson has been named as one of three finalists for the NFL’s Salute to Service Award. The Salute to Service Award is part of award sponsor USAA’s and the NFL’s year-round commitment to recognize and honor the military community. Johnson recently partnered with a service-disabled Air Force veteran to start a Black Rifle Coffee franchise in Niceville, Florida. The franchise employs over 40 veterans, active-duty servicemen and women, veterans’ spouses and children of military members. Johnson also recently organized, sponsored and participated in “The Murph Crossfit Exercise” on Memorial Day 2021. The workout consisted of a 1-mile run, 100 pullups, 200 pushups and 300 air squats, followed by another 1-mile run, all while wearing a 25-pound weighted vest. The event had over 300 participants and raised nearly $15,000 for the EOD Warrior Foundation and Pipe Hitter Foundation.

Sam Shade has emerged as the front-runner for the open head coach position at Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama. Shade is currently the head coach of Pinson Valley High School.

Lee Hodges shot a career best 62 (-10) at The American Express to share the opening round lead.

Community Outreach

Bradley and Nikki Bozeman resumed school visits as part of their anti-bullying campaign this week after a two-year hiatus. They also surprised a school leader with Super Bowl tickets.

Tua Tagovailoa’s Tua Foundation awarded two scholarships to students at Saint Louis School in Honolulu today.
