A’Shawn Robinson, who rarely does interviews, had plenty to say during Super Bowl Media Day this week, including a discussion about his time with the Detroit Lions and his 2020 health scare that cost him half a season.

Justin Thomas will be a part of the cast for the Nickelodeon Slime Cup, the network announced today. The Cup will be a two-round event with holes inspired by Nickelodeon shows. The final event, known as “The Unfairway,” will decide the winner of the Slime-green blazer. Winners can expect to get slimed.

Saketh Myneni and Erin Routliffe both advanced to the doubles semifinals in their respective matches today. Myneni, seeded 3rd, is playing in an ATP Challenger Tour event in Bengaluru, India. Routliffe, unseeded, is playing in the WTA event in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The Chicago White Sox organization has re-signed Will Carter to a minor league contract and assigned him to the Charlotte Knights. Carter pitched for the Knights last season, and elected free agency at the end of the season.

Justin Thomas shot an opening round 67 (-4) at the WM Phoenix Open, good enough for T-7th. Thomas was 1st in the field in Shots Gained – Tee to Green, and T-1st in Sand Saves and Scrambling. Thomas only hit 5 out of 14 fairways on the day..

Braxton Barker, who originally intended to transfer after recently graduating, has retired from football and has joined the Alabama staff as a graduate assistant.
