Multiple outlets are reporting that the Dallas Cowboys plan to release Amari Cooper before the beginning of the new league year, which starts in two weeks. Cooper’s $20 million 2022 salary would become fully guaranteed on March 20. By cutting him before March 15, the Cowboys would save approximately $16 million in cap space.
