Multiple outlets are reporting that the Dallas Cowboys plan to release Amari Cooper before the beginning of the new league year, which starts in two weeks. Cooper’s $20 million 2022 salary would become fully guaranteed on March 20. By cutting him before March 15, the Cowboys would save approximately $16 million in cap space.

According to Second Spectrum tracking data, the Utah Jazz shot 0-for-10 with Herb Jones as the closest defender tonight. Donovan Mitchell was 0-for-6 with Herb as the closest defender. Jones is the only player in the NBA this season with multiple games of holding a team to 0-for-10 or more as the closest defender.

At the Combine today, defensive linemen (Phidarian Mathis and LaBryan Ray) and linebackers (Christopher Allen and Christian Harris) met with the media, while running backs (Brian Robinson and Jerome Ford)

Natassha McDonald will represent Canada at the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade later this month. She’ll run in the women’s 4x400m relay.
