Evan Neal spoke to the media at the NFL Combine this morning. Neal addressed his decision to defer any workouts until the Alabama Pro Day on March 30, and also reported that his most recent weight was 336 pounds. He credited Landon Dickerson with showing him that he could play with a mean streak.
Brian Robinson was also available to the media, and discussed pass protection, as well as why he never considered the transfer portal.
Wide receivers were up for measurables and field workouts today. John Metchie and Jameson Williams did measurables only due to injuries, while Slade Bolden did measurables field work. Bolden’s clips are below..
Blake Sims has been signed by the Frisco Fighters of the Indoor Football League. Sims was on the roster of the Spokane Shock, but the IFL terminated the Shock’s league membership last week over ownership and arena lease issues. This will be Sims’ 2nd year in the IFL if he makes the team out of camp. Frisco’s first game is March 12.
Brett Auerbach was featured in Around the Foghorn’s series on San Francisco Giants prospects.
