Keith Askins was officially inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame tonight. Askins, who finished playing for Alabama in 1990, signed with the Miami Heat as an undrafted free agent that off-season, and has been with the organization as a player (9 seasons), assistant coach (14 seasons), and as a scouting director (since 2014). Askins was featured in pieces by the Tuscaloosa News and Bama Central noting his induction, and was interviewed at a luncheon yesterday.
