News

Jerry Jeudy was arrested by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of second-degree criminal tampering with a domestic violence enhancer, which is a misdemeanor. The arrest stems from a disagreement between Jeudy and the mother of his one-month-old child. Jeudy allegedly put the woman’s wallet and medical paperwork for their child in his car and would not let her get access to it. Jeudy alleges that he did so because she had one of his phones and would not return it. Despite the charge being a misdemeanor, Jeudy will be jailed on a no-bond hold until he appears before a judge, which won’t occur until tomorrow.

The Detroit Lions and Jameson Williams have agreed to terms on his 4-year rookie contract. Williams’ contract is fully-guaranteed.

Kirani James won the Men’s 400 Meter at the Puerto Rico Classic in a season-best time of 44.70 seconds. He has won both meets in which he competed this season.

Trey Mullinax turned in a streaky first round at the AT&T Byron Nelson today. He opened with a 29 on the back nine (he started on 10), which included a streak of birdie-eagle-eagle-birdie, but then gave much of it back with a 39 on the front nine, largely due to a triple-bogey, on the first hole. Mullinax finished at -4, T25.

Daniel Wright is attending the Atlanta Falcons’ mini-camp this weekend on a tryout basis.

The New Orleans Pelicans’ season-in-review series has a feature on Herb Jones, along with a companion podcast episode.
