Tyler Gentry broke a 6-6 tie with a 2-run triple in the top of the 9th tonight capped off a 4-run 9th for Quad Cities. The River Bandits held on to win 8-7.

Abbas Qali picked up two gold medals at the Gulf State Games in Kuwait – one in the 200m Butterfly and another in the 4x100m Medley Relay.

Community Outreach

Here’s a couple more football camp announcements. After a 2-year pandemic hiatus, Jarran Reed plans to resume his annual football camp in Goldsboro, North Carolina on June 22. Ross Pierschbacher will be co-hosting (along with Ike Boettger and Spencer Brown of the Buffalo Bills) a football camp on July 9 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

The Birmingham Stallions made the rounds to Birmingham area elementary schools today, and Bo Scarbrough was quite the hit at South Hampton Elementary.
