Alonzo Gee is set to play in the Big3 League again this summer. Gee was picked by Triplets with the 17th overall pick of the league’s draft. Triplets is led by Joe Johnson and coached by Lisa Leslie.

Daron Payne refuted reports that he left Commanders practice early yesterday due to his contract situation.

Cheyenne Knight, Emma Talley, and Lauren Stephenson were all victorious in the first day of round-robin play at the Bank of Hope LPGA Match Play event. Stephanie Meadow halved her match.

Filippa Fotopoulou jumped a career-best 6.79 meters to win the Women’s Long Jump in a meet in Greece today. Fotopoulou’s jump was the 2nd longest jump in Europe thus far this season. Fotopoulou’s twin sister Olivia won the Women’s 100 Meter at a separate meet in Germany in 11.39 seconds, which was 0.01 seconds off her personal best..

Bo Scarbrough was named USFL Offensive Player of the Week for his performance last weekend. Scarbrough rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown in the Birmingham Stallions’ win.

Keon Ellis did an interview with Basketball News to discuss next month’s NBA draft.

Tommy Hunter was placed on the 7-Day Injured List by the Syracuse Mets. No reason was disclosed.

Lance Taylor, now offensive coordinator at Louisville, spoke about his time as an Alabama player and brief time on the Alabama staff under Nick Saban.

Community Outreach

Dalvin Tomlinson announced plans to host his first football camp in McDonough, Georgia on July 9. The camp is free, but is limited to 150 participants.

Media Appearances

Marlon Humphrey addressed the media at Baltimore Ravens’ practice today. Humphrey, who missed the end of last season with an injury, said it felt really good to be back on the field.

Levi Wallace spoke to reporters at Pittsburgh’s practice today.

Cobie Fletcher-Vance appears on an upcoming episode of the Choppin’ It Up podcast.
