Apparently frustrated over his contract situation, Daron Payne reportedly walked out of practice after individual drills today at Washington headquarters. Payne is in the fifth year option year of his rookie contract, and the Commanders have indicated that they don’t plan to sign Payne to an extension. Payne did reportedly participate in team meetings after departing the practice field.
