Daily Recap – June 6, 2022

Antonio Langham and Chris Samuels have been nominated for 2023 induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. Langham was a unanimous First Team All-American Jim Thorpe Award winner in 1993 and an integral part of the 1992 national championship team. He was also a three-time All SEC Team selection. Samuels was a unanimous First Team All-American and Outland Trophy winner in 1999, and was twice named to All-SEC teams.

Davis Riley, -11, finished 3rd at the US Open sectional qualifier in Columbus, Ohio today, and has qualified for his 3rd US Open. Riley previously played US Opens on exemptions – one for the 2015 Open by virtue of being the US Junior Amateur runner-up, and one for the 2020 Open as a result of being in the Top 5 in the Korn Ferry Tour standings.

Annika Zeyen continued her run of success today by winning another German handbike national championship. At the Cologne Classic, Zeyen won the handbike road race today to go along with the timed trial championship she won on Saturday.

DeVonta Smith is starting to show more of his personality, if his charity softball game was any indication.
