Robby Shelton shot a third-round 61, equaling his career-low round on the Korn Ferry Tour, to take a five shot lead into the final round of the BMW Charity Pro-Am. Shelton’s round today consisted of 10 birdies and 8 pars. Shelton, -22, is seeking his 3rd career Korn Ferry Tour win, and would move one step closer to regaining his PGA Tour card by virtue of moving inside the KFT Top 25 with a win.
Justin Thomas shot a 7-under 63 in third round play at the RBC Canadian Open to get to -9, 2 shots back. The 63 was Thomas’ 19th round of 63 or better since he joined the PGA Tour in the 2014-15 season, which is by far the most of any player during that span (Jordan Spieth and Kevin Na are second with 13).
