Tommy Hunter made his first major league appearance of the season today, after having been recalled by the New York Mets on Friday. Hunter has now appeared in a game in 15 MLB seasons, which is the most-ever by an Alabama pitcher. Mets manager Buck Showalter discussed how the team plans to use Hunter after the game.

MLB.com digs into why David Robertson is experiencing a career renaissance this year. In short, the speed on his cutter is back to mid-2010s levels, and nobody can hit his secondary breaking ball pitches.

Amari Cooper says he’s yet to reach peak form yet, and hopes to do so in Cleveland.

Community Outreach

Ronnie Harrison hosted a free football camp in Tallahassee for 150 kids yesterday. The camp, which was last held in 2019 due to the pandemic, included football drills and backpack giveaways.
