According to reports, Mikey White will be named hitting coach at Tennessee Tech. White spent the past season as a volunteer assistant at Division II Trevecca Nazarene in Nashville after retiring following six seasons in the minor leagues.
The Edmonton Elks have promoted Ben Davis to the active roster in advance of Friday’s game. Davis, who is now playing defensive end, was signed to the Elks’ practice squad last week.
