Bo Scarbrough rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown to help lead the Birmingham Stallions to a 33-30 win over the Philadelphia Stars for the USFL championship. Scarbrough had runs of 36 yards and 70 yards in the first half to set the tone early.
Alexa Guarachi has advanced to the third round of the women’s doubles draw at Wimbledon for the first time in her career. Guarachi and Andreja Klepac earned a straight set win this morning.
Kalia Antoniou took the gold medal in the Women’s 100m Freestyle at the Mediterranean Games with a time of 54.36 seconds. Antoniou earlier took a bronze medal in the 50m Freestyle.
