Connor Prielipp was selected with the 48th overall pick in the MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins. Prielipp becomes the 6th highest Alabama selection in the regular phase of the NFL draft, which dates back to 1965.
Michael Thompson held on to finish T-9th at the Barracuda Championship, and in the process moves back into the Top 125 of the PGA Tour rankings with three events left to play. Thompson moves from 129th to 116th.
