Trey Mullinax, who already was in scramble mode to get to the British Open, had his putter bent by TSA en route to Scotland. Mullinax didn’t realize he was playing with a bent putter until after yesterday’s round. With a repaired putter today, Mullinax shot a 66, and is T-18th going into tomorrow’s final round.

J.D. Davison posted his second consecutive 10-assist game today. He’ll finish the Las Vegas Summer League with an 8.2 assists per game average, which will lead the league.

Phidarian Mathis buys his mother a new home!

Community Outreach

Kira Lewis hosted his 2nd annual We Aim Higher baskeball camp at Hazel Green High School in Huntsville today. Lewis presented the 15 year-olds at the camp with new iPads, and the high school presented Lewis with framed jerseys, signifying that the school is retiring his number.

Jalen Hurts hosted his Breed of 1 football camp at Cheltenham High School in the Philadelphia area today. Hurts, to the campers: “I’m here to spread love and positivity. I want to make a difference in this community. This is a really big day for me.”

Rounding out camps today, Anfernee Jennings hosted a camp at Dadeville (Alabama) High School today.

Najee Harris was a participant at Cam Heyward’s Celebrity Softball Game today.
