Dylan Ray made his professional debut this afternoon, working a scoreless inning with a strikeout for one of Arizona’s Complex League teams. Ray was slated to pitch yesterday, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

Annika Zeyen won the Handbike 3 road race championship at the UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships in Baie-Comeau, Canada. It’s her second championship of the week, having also won the time trial championship earlier in the week.

Alabama Track & Field alumnae Haley Wright won a different kind of championship today. She wins gold in the 2K Beach Run at the USLA National Lifeguard Championships in Hermosa Beach, California. Wright won the 2K in 2021 as well.

Alabama Water Ski team member Brooke Boskus won the Women 1 overall championship at the Goode Water Ski National Championships today.

J.D. Davison was celebrated with a parade in Fort Deposit, Alabama today.

Tommy Hunter began a rehab assignment in Binghamton, New York tonight, Hunter is eligible to come off the injured list on August 21.

Trey Mullinax shot at 3rd round 66 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. At -11, he’s T-3rd, 2 shots off the lead.

Levi Randolph has landed in Jerusalem for the beginning of training camp with Hapoel Jerusalem, and was interviewed at the airport.
