Blake Sims disclosed on a Twitter Space this morning that he has retired from football. Sims’ professional career, which included a practice squad stint with the Atlanta Falcons and a spot with the AAF’s Birmingham Iron that was cut short by injury, finally took off in the Indoor Football League. Sims spent two successful seasons in the league with the Spokane Shock and Frisco Fighters, and helped lead the Fighters to the IFL’s semifinals this season.

Robert Foster was placed on Injured Reserve today, effectively ending his season for 2022.

Morgan McCullough has signed with the Melbourne Aces of the Australian Baseball League for the team’s 2022-23 season. McCullough will spend his off-season from the Kansas City Royals organization with the team.

DeVonta Smith teased the upcoming launch of a new sneaker that he’s doing with EndState.

After several months of effort on his part, George Teague has been verified on Twitter!
