Absent a last-minute trade, the Las Vegas Raiders reportedly plan to release Kenyan Drake. Drake is owed $2.5 million in guaranteed salary for the 2022 season, and will represent a cap hit of $8 million for the Raiders.
The Tennessee Titans parted ways with Shyheim Carter today, as they waived him with an injury designation. Carter has already accepted an injury settlement, so he’ll be a free agent if he clears waivers tomorrow instead of reverting to Injured Reserve.
After last week’s semifinals run, Saketh Myneni moved up to a career-best 106th in this week’s ATP doubles rankings. Myneni’s previous best was 113th, which he reached in April 2016.

Former Alabama walk-on turned NASCAR pit crew member Blaine Anderson, who joined the Kyle Larson crew mid-season as a front tire changer, experienced his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series win at Watkins Glen yesterday. Anderson is the second former walk-on to experience a Cup Series win as a pit crew member, following the late Rowdy Harrell, who was part of two Cup wins on Alex Bowman’s crew.

Herb Jones is currently on a trip to the Philippines on behalf of NBA Cares to dedicate the opening of a basketball court in Angat, Bulacan. Jones also participated in a basketball clinic for the local youth.
Kira Lewis has provided uniforms for the basketball team at his alma mater, Hazel Green High School.
Najee Harris announced plans to host a steak dinner at Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Pittsburgh late next month. The event will benefit the Pittsburgh’s Homeless Children’s Education Fund.
