News

Tyler Gentry drove in all 5 runs tonight – all after the 7th inning – to lead Northwest Arkansas to a 5-1 win over Wichita. Gentry’s 2-run homer in the 8th broke a scoreless tie, and his 3-run double in the ninth broke open a 2-1 game. That’s a season-high in RBI for Gentry.

The Netherlands national team officially qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup with a 1-0 win over Israel today. National team member Merel Van Dongen was unavailable for the latest round of qualifiers due to an injury.

Mark Ingram will reportedly switch back to his familiar uniform number 22 this season. The number became available again when the New Orleans Saints traded C.J. Gardner-Johnson late in camp. Ingram wore 14 when he was re-acquired by the Saints last season, and was wearing 5 in camp this summer.
