Justin Thomas and partner Jordan Spieth kicked off Day 1 of the Presidents Cup with a 2 & 1 win in the alternate shot match play format. Thomas will be paired with Spieth again tomorrow when the tournament moves to best ball play.
Amari Cooper had 101 yards receiving and a touchdown for Cleveland in its 29-17 win over Pittsburgh. Cooper is the first Cleveland receiver since 2013 to go over 100 yards receiving in consecutive games.
Alex Reese scored 23 points to lead Amicale Steesel to the SuperCup championship in Luxembourg. SuperCup is Luxembourg’s pre-season tournament.
