Cobie Fletcher-Vance drove in five runs tonight to lead the Pensacola Blue Wahoos to the Southern League championship with an 11-4 win over the Tennessee Smokies in the deciding Game 3 of the championship series. Vance’s 2-out 5th inning grand slam erased a 3-2 deficit, and he would add another RBI in the 7th. Vance also was instrumental in Pensacola’s Game 2 win, driving in the tying run and scoring the go-ahead run in the 7th.

Jalen Hurts was voted FedEx Air Player of the Week for Week 3.

The Epson Tour features Lakareber Abe and her return to Tuscaloosa in this preview of this week’s Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic.

Kareem Jackson was among several Denver Broncos who visited patients at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado as part of Denver’s “Fight Like a Bronco” campaign.

Quinnen Williams surprised guests at a Crucial Catch relaxation event for mothers and daughters who have been touched by cancer at MetLife Stadium. The event was hosted by the Atlantic Health Jets Women’s Organization.
