Tua Tagovailoa sustained head and neck injuries from a sack in the second quarter, and was transported to a nearby Cincinnati hospital. Tagovailoa was discharged near the end of the game, and slated to travel back to South Florida with the team. Tagovailoa is just four days removed from another injury that he and the Dolphins characterized as a back injury, but appeared to have possibly been a head injury as well. More on this story tomorrow.

Jalen Hurts has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Month for September. It’s Hurts’ first such award.

The San Antonio Spurs announced that Josh Primo has suffered a left MCL sprain and will miss the start of pre-season. Primo is expected to be available for the start of the regular season.

Davis Riley shot an opening round 66 (-6), and has a share of the first round lead at the Sanderson Farms Championship.

Kaylee Thomas has been named Director of Operations for the University of Dayton volleyball team. Thomas joined the volleyball staff this past spring as a volunteer assistant coach.

Saketh Myneni and partner Yuki Bhambri knocked off 3-seeded Diego Hidalgo / Cristian Rodriguez in straight sets to advance to the semifinals of the Eugene Korea Open Tennis Championships. The event, an ATP 250 level event, would potentially be the highest-level championship won by Myneni.

Cheyenne Knight looks for a hometown boost at the Ascendant LPGA – an event that she won in 2019.
