NBA G League teams have started announcing training camp rosters. J.D. Davison and Keon Ellis, both on 2-way contracts with NBA teams, have been re-assigned to the Maine Celtics and Stockton Kings, respectively, for camp (as has Braxton Key, to the Motor City Cruise). The Birmingham Squadron have announced that John Petty will be part of its camp. Recent G League draftees Nick King (Windy City Bulls) and Dazon Ingram (Westchester Knicks) are also on camp rosters. The Oklahoma City Blue, who have not released a roster yet, are expected to have Jaden Shackelford in camp.
Former Alabama swimmer Jon Sieben was recently inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Sieben won gold and set a world record in the 200m butterfly at the 1984 Olympics prior to coming to Alabama, and would swim in the 1988 and 1992 Olympics as well.
