Derrick Henry and Quinnen Williams were named AFC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Month for October. For Henry, it’s his 3rd player of the month award, with the other two coming in December 2018 and October 2020. Williams is a first-time winner of the award.

In Josh Primo news, Dr. Hillary Cauthen and her attorney, Mark Buzbee held a press conference in Houston to lay our Cauthen’s case against Primo and the San Antonio Spurs organization. Buzbee would also file a civil suit against Primo and the Spurs today. In response, Primo’s attorney, Williams Briggs II, issued a statement categorizing Cauthen’s claims as false, and describing Primo as a victim in the accusation. Spurs CEO RC Buford also issued a statement, refuting Cauthen’s timeline of events.

JaMychal Green is a investor in We Dat’s Chicken and Shrimp, a Cajun-style eatery set to open on the Strip in Tuscaloosa in early 2023.

Justin Thomas, along with Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Jordan Spieth, will be featured in this year’s rendition of The Match. The made-for-TV event is tentatively scheduled for December 10.

Community Outreach

Dre Kirkpatrick’s 21 Kids Foundation has announced a partnership with the Educational Opportunity Center at Gadsden State Community College to provide educational opportunities for eligible individuals. The Foundation will provide financial assistance and other support.
