Lance Taylor was named head football coach today at Western Michigan University. Taylor, who played at Alabama in 2002-2003, was most recently the offensive coordinator at Louisville, and also had stints with Notre Dame, the Carolina Panthers, and the New York Jets.

Multiple outlets are reporting that David Robertson and the New York Mets have agreed to terms on a one-year, $10 million contract. Robertson has reported already passed his physical, so the signing should be imminent.

Xavier McKinney had the pins taken out of his injured hand this week, per New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll, who expressed uncertainty on when or if McKinney can play again this season.

Collin Sexton, who injured his hamstring midway through the fourth quarter of last night’s game, underwent an MRI today which revealed a mild hamstring strain in his right leg. He’ll be re-evaluated in a week.

Nealy Martin has been signed by NJ/NY Gotham FC for the 2023 season, with team option for 2024. Martin, whose career began with an open tryout camp, spent her first two seasons with Racing Louisville FC, but was not signed for the 2023 season.
