Brian Robinson has been named Sports Illustrated’s “Inspiration of the Year.” The award was part of the publication’s annual awards celebration yesterday evening. Robinson’s survival of an armed robbery attack has been well documented on here. The publication found inspiration in particular in Robinson’s return to the field in five weeks after being shot twice in the leg, and his contribution as a rookie to Washington’s resurgence since he returned to the field.
