News

Herb Jones returned to action tonight for New Orleans’ game against Utah. Jones suffered a sprained ankle against Toronto on November 30, and had missed the last 5 games. In the same game, Kira Lewis appeared late in the game, marking his first NBA appearance since his knee injury on December 8, 2021.

Celia Jiménez Delgado recently took place in a two-week professional development program with Nationwide Insurance. The program is part of Nationwide’s partnership with the NWSL.

Community Outreach

Kareem Jackson held his annual “Shop with a Jock” event at a Denver-area Wal-Mart yesterday. Jackson hosted over 50 Boys and Girls Club members with $100 gift cards, dinner, and commemorative t-shirts.

Levi Wallace, with the help of some of his teammates, held a holiday shopping spree for kids from Children’s Hospital Family Care Connections Program.

Jalen Hurts made surprise visits to Roxborough High School and Saul High School today to honot Nicolas Elizalde, a 14-year-old who was shot to death outside of Roxborough High School a couple of months ago following a football scrimmage (Elizalde attended Saul, but played football at Roxborough.
