Josh Jacobs missed practice most of this week to be in Tulsa with his father, who had emergency heart surgery on Wednesday. Jacobs’ 6-year-old son, Braxton, found his grandfather in pain on Tuesday and called 911. Jacobs’ father Marty had heart surgery Wednesday and remains hospitalized in intensive care. Marty insisted that Josh return to Las Vegas to finish out the season today.

Jacobs finished the season with 1,653 rushing yards and 2,053 yards from scrimmage, which lead the NFL pending the outcome of tomorrow’s games.

Derrick Henry with 109 yards rushing and 19 yards receiving tonight, finishes the season with 1,538 rushing yards (the 3rd 1,500+ yd season of his career) and 1,936 scrimmage yards (2nd most of his career).

Josh Jacobs and Derrick Henry close out the 2022 season with the 2nd and 4th most yards from scrimmage of any Alabama alumnus in the NFL. The Top 5 seasons are now:

Former Alabama track athlete Sydney Milani continues her budding career as a bobsledder. She’s headed to Germany to represent the United States at the Junior Bobsleigh World Championships in the 2-Woman Bobsled competition.

Community Outreach

Levi Wallace was among four Pittsburgh Steelers players this week that delivered toys to Kelly & Nina’s Daycare Center in suburban Pittsburgh. The daycare has been supported by injured Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin since Hamlin’s college days.

Levi Wallace also made a recent visit to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh to visit with patients.
