News

Bryce Young took center stage at the NFL Combine today, doing a widely-attended media session in the morning, as well as some radio appearances. Young addressed questions about his size, saying that he’s “been that size all my life,” and mentioned that he has leaned on Mac Jones for some draft preparation advice. Young also talked about it being an honor to have played at Alabama.

In other Combine activities, Cameron Latu also addressed the media, while Brian Branch, Jordan Battle, and DeMarcco Hellams did positional drills (Eli Ricks did not do drills).

Justin Thomas’ 2nd round 67 today included 8 birdies, but a bogey-bogey finish put a damper on the round. Thomas will focus on the positives. Thomas and Davis Riley are both T-5th, 4 strokes back.

Angelica Moresco made her professional debut at the Epson Tour season-opener in Winter Haven, Florida.

The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly plan to apply the franchise tag to impending free agent Josh Jacobs. Jacobs would be the second Alabama alumnus to receive the tag designation

Dicky Pride, playing through a sore knee, is hoping to capitalize off his Top 5 finish on a sponsor’s exemption at the Chubb Classic.
