Spencer Turnbull threw 25 pitches in Detroit’s exhibition game against Philadelphia today, marking his first game facing opposing batters in 21 months. Turnbull was hitting the mid 90s on his four-seem fastball and sinker.
Jahmyr Gibbs, Emil Ekiyor, and Tyler Steen took their turns with media sessions today at the NFL Combine (see clips below). Quarterbacks, tight ends, and wide receivers did positional drills, but Bryce Young had previously announced that he was waiting to the Alabama Pro Day to throw, and Cameron Latu also withdrew from drills due to a hamstring injury. Young went through much awaiting measurements, and came in at 5′, 10.125″ and 204 pounds.
