Erin Routliffe picked up her third career WTA 250-level doubles title in Austin, Texas today, as she and partner Aldila Sutjiadi, the 2-seeds in the tournament, defeated the top seeded Nicole Melichar-Martinez and Ellen Perez in three sets. Routliffe now has 18 career doubles titles.

Davis Riley and Trey Mullinax both finished T-8th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational; Riley doing so on the strength of a closing round 66, which matched the low round of the day. One of the perks of the API is that the top three finishers in the Top 10 not otherwise qualified for the British Open gain entry by virtue of their finish. Riley and Mullinax tied for the 3rd such finish, with Riley getting the exemption by having the higher OWGR ranking entering the event.

Riley Mattingly Parker made her professional debut tonight, entering Tigres UANL’s match at the 61-minute mark. Parker would go on to score her first professional goal in the first minute of extra time in Tigres’ 4-1 win over Leon.

The NFL Combine closed out positional activities today with Jahmyr Gibbs doing running back drills. Gibbs posted an unofficial 4.36 seconds in the 40-yard dash, which was second-fastest among running backs.
