At its annual owners meeting today, NFL owners approved the use of the number 0 as a uniform number. Minutes laters, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Calvin Ridley announced that Ridley would wear 0 with his new team.

USA Basketball has named Joni Crenshaw Taylor head coach of the USA U-19 World Cup team. The FIBA U-19 World Cup will take place July 15-23 in Madrid.

Irv Smith Jr. has reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. Smith, who had offers from other teams, felt like the Bengals were the closest among the suitors to winning a Super Bowl.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor expects Jonah Williams to move to right tackle despite Williams’ trade request.
