J.D. Davison posted a career high 27 points in his final G League game of the season. Maine lost its single-elimination first round playoff game to Cleveland.

The Detroit Tigers announced its starting pitchers for this first two series. Spencer Turnbull will get the ball for Game 2 Saturday on the road against Tampa Bay. The Tigers also announced that Turnbull will start the team’s home opener on April 6 against Boston.

Former Alabama women’s tennis player Susan Carver West, who went on to have a successful amateur golf career, will be inducted into the Birmingham Golf Association Hall of Fame this weekend.
