Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week – Saketh Myneni (April 3)

Your Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week is Saketh Myneni. Myneni won the 34th double titles of his career, and his 16th on the ATP Challenger Tour, in Gironi, Spain. Myneni has won 10 doubles titles since the beginning of 2022.

Runner-up this week is Davis Shore. Shore finished solo 2nd at the JHSF Aberto do Brasil tournament for his second straight Top 5 finish on the PGA Latinoamerica Tour. Shore closed a 6-stroke gap in the final round to finish one shot behind the winner.

Lee Hodges finished T-6th at the Valero Open.

Robby Shelton finished T-15th at the Valero Open.

Angelica Moresco finished T-17th on the Epson Tour for the first Top 20 finish in her young career.

David Robertson picked up a save on Opening Day for the New York Mets.

Robert Dunning won the Men’s 110 Meter Hurdles at the Florida Relays.

Mauricia Prieto won both the Women’s 100 Meter and the Women’s 200 Meter at the Tobago Falcon Games.

AJ McCarron threw for 222 yards and 3 touchdowns in another St. Louis win.

Alex Reese had 15 points and 12 rebounds to help Amicale Steesel sweep its quarterfinals series.

J.D. Davison had 27 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals in Maine’s season finale.

Braxton Key had 15 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks to help Delaware advance to the G League Championship Series.

Mykal Riley had a 23 point game for Besançon.
