Alabama Gymnastics legend Ashley Miles Greig has been named head coach at Iowa State University. This will be Greig’s first collegiate coaching job, though she has been involved in elite level gymnastics since her collegiate career ended.

Krystal Rivers and Allianz MTV Stuttgart have advanced to the finals of the Volley Bundesliga by defeated Dresden 2-0 in a best of three semifinal. Rivers, with 24 points, was named MVP of the match. Stuttgart has now reached the Bundesliga finals in all four non-COVID seasons with Rivers on the team.

John Metchie returned to the practice field at this week’s voluntary training activities in Houston, as he moves a step closer to returning from leukemia treatments.

Terms of A’Shawn Robinson’s contract with the New York Giants were made known today. The contract is a one-year, $5 million contract with $4 million guaranteed at signing. Game incentives can take the total contract value to $8 million.

Isaac Odugbesan (“Oba Femi” in WWE vernacular) made his debut on WWE’s NXT bill last night.

Will Anderson and Bryce Young were part of a contingency of players in Kansas City for tomorrow’s NFL draft that visited an area high school today. Anderson and Young participated in a gardening activity, where Anderson put Young on the spot about what he plans to name his tomato plant.
