Your Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week is Kalia Antoniou. At this week’s Acropolis Swim Open, which included 18 countries, Antoniou won gold medals in both the 50m Free and 100m Free events. Antoniou also made the A Final in 200m Free, 50m Back, and 50m Fly events.


Runner-up this week is Alex Amankwah. Normally an 800 Meter specialist, Amankwah won the 1500 Meter race at the Kehoe Twilight Meet with a personal best time of 3:54.74.
