Krystal Rivers and Allianz MTV Stuttgart repeated as Volley Bundesliga champions today, with a 4 set win over Potsdam. Stuttgart, which had never won the Bundesliga when it signed Rivers after the 2018 season, has now won three of the four league championships since Rivers joined the squad, and finished runners-up in 2021.

Roman Harper, Gerald Wallace, and Jackie Sherrill were inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Birmingham tonight.

Levi Randolph was named to the All-Champions League Second Team at the Champions League awards ceremony tonight.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have shut down Jimmy Nelson’s rehab program after he suffered a setback. Nelson appeared in one rehab outing for Oklahoma City before experiencing more elbow problems.

Community Outreach

The Levi Randolph Summer Classic Celebrity Game returns on June 24 at Bob Jones High School. Randolph hosts a basketball camp earlier in the day.

Mack Wilson’s 2nd Annual Celebrity Softball Game will also be June 24, in Montgomery. Ronnie Harrison, Anfernee Jennings, and Blake Sims are announced as attendees.
