Michael Kessens has been suspended for three games for an incident that occurred in Game 2 of Telekom Baskets Bonn’s finals series in Germany’s EasyCredit BBL. Kessens struck an opposing player in the chest after play was whistled dead, and was ejected from Game 2. Since the finals series is Best-of-5, Kessens will be sidelined for the remainder of the finals series.
Chandler Avant has been hired as the new baseball coach at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School. Avant will also serve at the special teams coach for the football team.
Keitavious Walter has been promoted to head track & field coach at Northwest Tech, a junior college in Louisiana. Walter previous served as sprints coach at the school.
