ESPN is reporting that the New Orleans Pelicans and Herb Jones have agreed to terms on a 4-year, $54 million contract. The agreement comes on the first day of NBA free agency, and one day after the New Orleans Pelicans’ declined the team’s option on Jones’ 2023-24 contract.

NBA Insider Mark Stein is reporting that the Portland Trailblazers are showing an interest in signing Donta Hall. Hall has two years left on his contract with A.S. Monaco, but has an out clause that allows him to sign with an NBA team. Hall appeared in 22 NBA teams with Detroit, Brooklyn, and Orlando before signing with Monaco.

Merel Van Dongen has officially been named to the Netherlands’ Women’s World Cup roster. This will be Van Dongen’s third World Cup.

Riley Mattingly Parker has re-joined Racing Louisville. Parker was drafted by Louisville, and loaned to Tigres UANL of Liga Mexicali for the completion of the Mexican season.

Alba Cortina Pou is returning to Tuscaloosa as an assistant coach for the Women’s Tennis team.
