Today’s deadline passed without Josh Jacobs agreeing to terms with the Las Vegas Raiders on a long-term contract. Jacobs, currently not under contract, will not report to training camp, which opens next week. Derrick Henry and Najee Harris were among several NFL running backs who supported Jacobs and other running backs whose values are being diminished by franchise tags.
Jahmyr Gibbs signed his rookie contract with the Detroit Lions today.

Andrew Pinckney, Garrett McMillan, and Jake Eddington all signed their first pro contracts today. Pinckney received a signing bonus of $500,000 (which was slightly below his slot value of $660,000). McMillan received $150,000. Eddington received $225,000, which was approximately slot value.
