Grayson Hitt received a $1.2 million signing bonus from the Arizona Diamondbacks. Hitt slid into the 4th round due to his recovery from elbow surgery, but was paid over double the slot value ($597,500) for his draft position.
Ashley Prange has been hired as a recruiting coordinator for the American Collegiate League. The ACL administers summer leagues, such as the Florida Gulf Coast League, among others.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have sent Jimmy Nelson on another 30-day rehab assignment to Oklahoma City. Nelson’s previous rehab stint expired a week ago, and he reverted by the the 60-Day Injured List.
