News

Lee Hodges led the 3M Open wire-to-wire to pick up his first win on the PGA Tour. Hodges, who opened the day with a 5-stroke lead, never saw his lead drop below 3 strokes, and eventually won by 7. Hodges becomes the first wire-to-wire winner in 3M Open history, and his -24 is also the lowest score in tournament history. Hodges becomes the 10th former Alabama golfer to win on the PGA Tour.

Davis Shore, who slept on a 2-shot lead at the Osprey Valley Open, held on to win by a stroke for his first-ever professional tour win. Shore moves up to 6th in the PGA Tour Canada points, with the Top 5 earning 2024 Korn Ferry Tour status.

Kimberley Ficenec won the Women’s 800 Meter at the Czech Men’s & Women’s Track Championships for her third career Czech national title in the 800 Meter. She also won 800 in 2021 in both the indoor and outdoor championships.

Tyler Gentry homered for the second straight day, and has now reached base 8 times in his last 2 games.

David Robertson recorded a save in his first appearance with the Miami Marlins.
