NJ/NY Gotham FC has signed Nealy Martin to a contract extension through the 2026 season. Martin is in her first season with Gotham, and previously spent two seasons with Racing Louisville FC.
Dylan Smith and Peyton Wilson have been announced as participants in the 2023 Arizona Fall League. Smith will pitch for the Salt River Rafters, while Wilson will play for the Surprise Sagueros. The AFL season starts on October 2.
Former Alabama swimmer Mia Nonnenberg has been hired as an assistant coach for the Princeton Men’s Swimming and Diving team. Nonnenberg, who also served as a volunteer assistant after her career ended at Alabama, has had coaching stops at West Florida, Eastern Michigan, and most recently Penn State.
Cheyenne Knight’s Solheim Cup debut match was a rousing success. Knight and partner Ally Ewing won 6 of the first 9 holes, and went on to win their morning match 5 & 4. Knight did not play in the afternoon session.
