Trevon Diggs left practice today with an apparent knee injury, and was seen on crutches at the facility after practice. An MRI this afternoon confirmed that he suffered a torn ACL, and is out for the season.
The Carolina Panthers announced that Bryce Young missed practice again today with an ankle injury, and likely won’t play on Sunday. He’ll likely officially be ruled out tomorrow.
After a four-year hiatus, Shaquera Wade is resuming her professional career with the Oaklands Wolves of England’s WBBL. Wade played briefly in Switzerland in 2019, then enlisted in the US Air Force.
Owen Diodati will be competing in a 105-mile bike race in honor of Davis Heller on Saturday. Owen’s effort can be supported by donating to the Davis Heller Memorial Foundation.
Ken Stabler will be honored by the Pro Football Hall of Fame at the Las Vegas Raiders’ game on Sunday. Stabler’s family will be presented with his Hall of Fame ring. In other Hall of Fame news, Brian Branch’s uniform and other artifacts from his first game are currently on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
